Hygiene is the key to good health. In being healthy it is very important to stay clean. However people living in shanty towns are totally incautious about their health. The real victims of unhealthy diseases are the children living in squatter settlements. On the 18th February, 2017 ULAB Social Welfare Club organized a period of hand hygiene for the slum children to make them more cautious and alert about health issues. The program was organized for the children of squatter settlement at Rayer Bazaar Dhaka. During that awareness scheme a lot of pictures were shown to the children to send the message of how to stay hygiene by washing their hands properly and what were the merits of using soap. In that awareness scheme Advisor of ULAB Social Welfare Club Selima Quader Chowdhury and other members were present. If this knowledge of being hygiene can be spread properly then the death rate of small children will come down.
