ULAB Language Club Holds Workshop on Language Documentation

ULAB Language Club has successfully organized the second workshop on Language Documentation titled as ‘Endangered Language Project: Phonemic Transcription Contest’. The workshop was conducted on 13th July, 2017 at Auditorium, Campus A. Professor Imran Rahman, Dean, School of Business, ULAB, paid a visit and heartily praised the efforts of the workshop facilitator, Tanzia Siddiqua, Advisor, ULAB Language Club, Lecturer, Department of English and Humanities, ULAB, for organizing this contest. He mentioned phonetics being a significant aspect in understanding a society to its depth. With his inspiring words, Imran Sir encouraged the students to conduct researches in future and study Linguistics extensively.
