ULAB Social Welfare Club in collaboration with Thalassemia Foundation of Bangladesh organized Blood Donation Camp for Children who are suffering from Thalassemia. The daylong Campaign took place on 30.7.2018 at Campus-A Auditorium where more than 50 willing students, admin and faculties participated in blood donation to help children who require constant blood supply to help cure the disease. Also, students got the facility to do certain free tests including Hepatitis B, HIV, Hepatitis C, Malaria, and Syphilis during the camp. The donators who came to the camp were more than willing to give blood among the less fortunate children of our society. Club Adviser Ms. Selima Quader Chowdhury, Club Executives along with experienced blood collectors were present at the Auditorium to help make the social cause a successful one. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. H M Jahirul Haque, Registrar Akhtar Ahmed, and Advisor Co-Curricular Office Dr. Pinki Shah also went on to donate blood at the Camp to help achieve the cause.
