Film Screening on DhruboTara

The lights dimmed, the screen flickered, and the story of DhruboTara came alive. On 5 February 2026, the ULAB Film Club proudly hosted a special screening of the student-led film directed and scripted by former Film Club President Mohammad Farhad Hossain Fahad.

With three regular screening slots and a special finale featuring the full cast and crew, the event drew full-house audiences, turning the day into a vibrant celebration of creativity, collaboration, and storytelling. Students and external guests alike experienced not just a film, but the passion and dedication of the ULAB film community.

From organizing tickets, coordinating screenings, to welcoming the cast, the Film Club team showcased professionalism and teamwork at every step. The presence of alumni and current members together highlighted the spirit of mentorship and continuity that defines ULAB’s creative culture.
