COVID-19 Social Welfare Recognition
The "Campus Club Summit 2020" was a significant online event held on November 6-7, bringing together university-based clubs across Bangladesh. Organized by Excellence Bangladesh and The Daily Star, and sponsored by Midas Financing Limited, the summit aimed to recognize the extraordinary efforts of university clubs during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. Among the highlights was the "COVID-19 Social Welfare Recognition" category, which acknowledged the top 5 clubs that made impactful contributions to their communities between March and August 2020.
Over 350 clubs from both public and private universities nationwide competed in this prestigious category. The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) Digital Marketing Club (UDMC) emerged as one of the top 5 winners, showcasing their commitment to social welfare and community support during the pandemic. The recognition reflects UDMC's proactive initiatives that not only benefited the club members but also made a positive impact on society at large.
This accolade positions UDMC alongside other notable clubs such as the Jagannath University Rover Scout Group and the BUP Business & Communications Club, highlighting ULAB's dedication to fostering socially responsible and impactful student organizations.
