ULAB DifferenceMaker 2021: Empowering Student Innovators

The ULAB DifferenceMaker program, held in August 2021, was a dynamic campus-wide competition that engaged undergraduate students in creative problem-solving, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Organized by the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) in partnership with UMass Lowell, this initiative provided students with a platform to transform their innovative ideas into impactful projects.

Throughout the program, participants were challenged to identify real-world problems and develop entrepreneurial solutions. ULAB DifferenceMaker offered a supportive environment, guiding students through each phase of the competition, from the initial pitch to the final presentation. The program emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in driving social change, encouraging students to use their skills to benefit their communities.

The competition culminated in a grand finale on October 31, 2021, where the top ideas were recognized with substantial cash prizes. The winner received BDT 70,000, while the first and second runners-up were awarded BDT 50,000 and BDT 30,000, respectively.

By fostering innovation and entrepreneurial thinking, ULAB DifferenceMaker 2021 empowered students to make a lasting impact, reflecting ULAB's commitment to nurturing future leaders who can address pressing societal challenges.
