Empowering Change Through Leadership!
On October 31st, 2024, the ULAB Co-curricular Office (CCO) held an impactful Executive Training session for all club leaders, bringing together motivated individuals dedicated to fostering growth, collaboration, and leadership within their clubs. This training session, designed to equip leaders with the skills and insights necessary for effective club management, was both informative and inspiring, setting the foundation for a stronger, more connected club community at ULAB.
The event began with opening remarks from ULAB’s CCO Director, Moinak Kanungo, whose speech set the tone for the day. Emphasizing the critical role that strategic planning and clear policies play in club growth, Mr. Kanungo encouraged all attendees to think about the long-term impact of their work. He stressed that effective leadership extends beyond immediate responsibilities; it requires vision, commitment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. His words resonated with everyone, reminding each club leader of their unique power to drive positive change within the ULAB community.
Following the Director’s address, CCO Assistant Jubayda Jahan Sajlin and DEA Award Leader MD Abu Bakar Siddik facilitated insightful sessions on CCO policy, Executive policy, and the core responsibilities of club leaders. They highlighted the importance of adhering to these policies to ensure consistency, accountability, and professionalism across all club activities. Their sessions delved into the nuances of policy implementation and how leaders can uphold these standards while fostering an inclusive and vibrant club environment.
To foster collaboration and fresh ideas, the training included a dynamic game session, where participants were encouraged to work together, share perspectives, and tackle challenges as a team. This interactive segment sparked creativity, strengthened team bonds, and underscored the power of collective effort in achieving common goals.
This enriching experience left club leaders feeling empowered and better equipped to make a meaningful impact within their respective clubs. Here’s to building a stronger, more connected, and resilient ULAB club community!
