Celebrating the Unsung Heroes: Honoring ULAB’s 7th Convocation Volunteers

On 21st November, ULAB hosted a memorable event to honor and celebrate the dedicated volunteers who were the unsung heroes behind the grand success of ULAB’s 7th Convocation. This special gathering, known as the Convocation Volunteers Certificate Giving Ceremony, took place to express heartfelt gratitude to nearly 300 volunteers who contributed their time and effort to make the event on 7th May 2024 a resounding success.

The ceremony was graced by a warm and welcoming speech from Moinak Kanungo, the esteemed Director of the ULAB Co-Curricular Office and Deputy Director of ULAB Student Affairs. His words set the tone for the event, highlighting the importance of teamwork and community spirit in ensuring the smooth execution of such a large-scale event. Following his speech, S. M. Maruf Bin Islam, the Senior Assistant Manager at BPO and the Volunteer Team Leader, took the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech of gratitude. His leadership and dedication played a pivotal role in organizing the volunteers, and his words were a testament to their hard work and commitment.

During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to 29 volunteer teams, recognizing their outstanding efforts in supporting the event. The volunteers, who came from all departments of ULAB, showed exceptional teamwork, dedication, and enthusiasm. A delicious meal was shared, and the event ended on a high note with a vibrant musical performance by ULAB Shangskriti Shangshad - SS Club, followed by an exhilarating dance performance by the volunteers themselves.

The ceremony served as a beautiful reminder of the incredible spirit of volunteerism that runs through ULAB’s community. A big thank you to every single volunteer who made this journey memorable. You are the true heart of ULAB’s success and community spirit! 💙
